SIMTEQ Engineering is proud to announce the successful delivery of the VTX-200 Educational Wind Tunnel to Wits University — a key milestone designed and assembled by our engineering team. This delivery marks an exciting step forward in our shared commitment to advancing hands-on engineering education in South Africa. The VTX-200 brings real aerodynamic phenomena directly into the classroom, allowing students to move beyond theory and experience airflow, drag, lift, and pressure behaviour in a visual, measurable, and practical way.

With the growing demand for practical engineering skills, tools like the VTX-200 play an essential role in bridging the gap between simulation and physical experimentation. WITS’ investment in this system ensures that their students gain exposure to real-world aerodynamics early in their studies – strengthening both their understanding and curiosity.
